Job summary

INNIO Group in California seeks a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled maintenance and major engine overhauls on Jenbacher gas engines in the field. Ideal base in Maricopa/Bakersfield region with willingness to travel to sites as needed.

You’ll work independently and in teams, using diagnostic equipment and hand/tools, maintaining safety standards and reporting on equipment condition. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines.
• Proficient in preventative maintenance and engine troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled maintenance and perform minor and major Jenbacher engine overhauls in the field.
• Travel to customer sites as needed and work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Read and interpret safety documents, schematics and mechanical diagrams.
