Job summary

Delta Fuel in Lake Charles, LA seeks a dependable Service Technician to perform field service, maintenance, repair, welding, and installation on fuel storage and dispensing equipment, tanks, and related systems. The role involves working in the field and in the shop, with regular customer interaction and safety compliance.

A rotating on-call schedule may include nights and weekends. Ideal candidates will diagnose issues, perform repairs with minimal supervision, and have welding/fabrication

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in industrial/oilfield or mechanical maintenance environments is preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service, maintenance, repair, welding, and installation on fuel storage and dispensing equipment and tanks.
• Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
• Interact with customers, supervisors, and coworkers in field and shop settings.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule including nights and weekends.
• Disassemble/reassemble piping, valves, and tank components as needed for maintenance.
• Perform PM on medium- and heavy-duty trucks and trailers when required.
• Follow safety procedures and complete required documentation.
