Job summary

Retif Oil & Fuel in Lafayette, LA is seeking a field maintenance technician to service fuel tanks and related equipment at customer sites.

You will drive to sites, perform on-site maintenance, inspect tanks, install gauges, prepare tanks for shipment, and ensure safety and quality while meeting deadlines. TWIC eligibility and being 25+ are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Must be TWIC-eligible and willing to obtain a TWIC card if not already in possession of one
• Must be at least 25 years old.

Responsibilities

• Drive to customer sites and interface with customers at all levels when required
• Perform onsite maintenance and repairs on various equipment such as fuel tanks
• Maintain inventory of all tanks and equipment
• Clean, pressure wash, and paint tanks to prep them for customers
• Prepare fuel and lubricant tanks for shipment to customer sites
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform maintenance at customer site locations
• Install and maintain fuel tank gauges, including the installation and hardware configuration on automatic tank gauges and point of sales systems
• Perform tank and site inspections at customer locations
