Job summary

Raymond Central is seeking a Field Service Technician in Columbus, NE (or Fremont, NE) to support forklifts, pallet jacks, and racking systems at customer distribution centers. Full-time, hourly position with possible overtime based on customer demands.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required.
At least two years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components.
Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15’ to 30’ in height.

Responsibilities

Maintain, service, and support material handling equipment at customer locations.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and other equipment per guidelines and procedures.
Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to procedures and cost guidelines.
Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately.
Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used.
Drive and work safely in accordance with safety policies.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers.
Maintain the van’s interior equipment, manuals and related documents.
Attend meetings, training, and other company activities.
Keep a set of personal tools as required.
Collaborate with all departments to ensure high-quality customer service.
