Job summary

Raymond Central in Nebraska is seeking a Field Service Technician to support forklifts, pallet jacks, and racking systems at customer distribution centers in Columbus or Fremont. You will diagnose, repair, and service equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain safe work practices while delivering high quality customer service on site.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders or work on elevated platforms up to 30 ft.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and support material handling equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and other equipment per guidelines; maintain customer relationships.
• Perform preventive maintenance per procedures and cost guidelines at customer sites.
• Complete required paperwork and time records accurately following Mobile Tech Procedures.
• Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used.

Field Service Technician (Columbus, NE or Fremont, NE)

At Raymond Central , our technicians are the heart and soul of our company. We are looking for a Field Service Technician to support forklifts, pallet jacks, and racking systems within our customer distribution center locations.

*This is a full time, hourly position. Some overtime may be required based on customer demands.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain, service , and support material handling equipment, systems and products at the customer location in a timely and cost-effective manner so that all requirements are met .
• Diagnose, trouble-shoot , and repair forklift s and other equipment in accordance with established guidelines and proced ures; ensuring that positive relationships are established .
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to established procedures and cost guidelines at customer’s facility .
• Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately and completely follow Mobile Tech Procedures as directed by management.
• Account for all parts, materials, tools , and consumables used as required .
• Drive and work safely in accordance with company and/or customer safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Maintain the van’s interior equipment, storage devices, service manuals and related documents.
• Attend meetings, training classes and other company activities as required .
• Keep an adequate set of personal tools as required by the position.
• Work with all departments and employees to ensure high quality customer service.

Ideal candidate will possess

• Strong mechanical aptitude & ability; basic knowledge of industrial electricity
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer’s specifications
• Experience within the industrial maintenance, automotive, heavy equipment industries

Minimum Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• At least two (2) years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15' to 30' in height
