Job summary

Harrs Forklift Service Inc in Columbus, OH is seeking a career minded field service technician. You will repair material handling equipment at customer locations and advise on needed services. You will manage your service vehicle and parts inventory while delivering friendly, reliable service.

Training offered; all experience levels considered. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work with customers, vendors and staff to ensure timely repairs and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Must have the ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to follow all company and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer satisfaction.
• Be able to effectively communicate with customers, vendors and employees.
• Perform repairs on material handling equipment with minimum supervision and rework.
• Effectively and efficiently communicate required information to parts, sales, and service team to fulfill customer's needs.
• Submit required documents timely and legibly.
• Maintain personal and company tools along with vehicles and all company property.
