Job summary

Alpine Power Systems Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking an installer for forklift battery and power systems. You will visit customer facilities to evaluate needs, develop solutions, and install batteries and chargers across all makes and models, then maintain existing systems. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with installation and maintenance of forklift batteries and chargers.
• High degree of initiative and dependability.
• Strong customer service/solutions focus.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Basic electronics knowledge is a plus, but not required.
• Computer literacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer facilities to evaluate needs and develop solutions.
• Develop a strong grasp of the features and capabilities of multiple product lines.
• Install all makes and models, forklift battery and power systems.
• Maintain existing systems.
• Exceed customers’ expectations.
