Job summary

Uniti Group seeks a Customer Service Technician I to install and repair residential and business communications services in Inman, SC. You will train with test equipment, work with various network designs, and recommend solutions to customers.

The role involves both indoor and outdoor work, pole climbing, ladder use, and safety training. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required; a two-year technical degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors in use of color-coded cable.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work aloft.
• Willingness to work day/evening/weekend/holiday hours.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business services including telephone, internet, and video.
• Train and use tools/test equipment to service multiple technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services to resolve customers’ needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant, requiring pole climbing and ladders.
• Operate and maintain company vehicle following safety standards.
