Job summary

Join Ecolab as a Field Service Technician in the Sacramento, CA market. This field-based role involves service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution across Institutional segments, with travel to nearby locations as needed.

You will support customers, ensure Ecolab Brand Standards, and collaborate with sales and service teams to drive a superior customer experience and measurable outcomes. Training is provided, and a company vehicle is included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of service-related experience.
• Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance which may occur at night, on weekends and over holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market, including aligned and centralized customers.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned and unplanned work orders reliably and efficiently.
• Evaluate account conditions during each visit and proactively take action to help ensure customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a fully stocked vehicle, maximize effectiveness, and support first-time fix performance.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed.
• Communicate Ecolab's total value to customers and strengthen customer relationships.
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness, reduce friction, and deliver a consistent customer experience.
