Job summary

MasterTech on Long Island, United States, seeks entry-level Field Service Technicians near an International Airport with extensive travel to customer locations. You will be responsible for on-site installation and support of mechanical and electrical components and systems, ensuring machinery is properly installed and operational.

You will also perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, reporting issues and completing documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous printing, corrugated, prepress, postpress, flexo presses, boxing equipment experience is beneficial.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Electrical systems experience a definite asset; AC, DC and three-phase wiring.
• Knowledge of SPS programming, automation, and drive technologies.
• Ability to install, diagnose, troubleshoot, program, repair, and recommend improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date training and provide remote support.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnosis and documentation.

Shift:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday with ample overtime + occasional on-call.

MasterTech is on the search for entry-level Industrial Technicians based near an International Airport, requiring extensive travel to customer locations.

Field Service Techs will be responsible for the on-site installation and support of mechanical and electrical components and systems, ensuring the machinery is properly installed and operational.

Detail-oriented FieldService Techs are responsible for the on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of machinery along with reporting issues and completing documentation.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous printing, corrugated, prepress, postpress, flexo presses, folding and other printing/boxing equipment is extremely beneficial.
  
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or any kind of mechanical maintenance is preferred.
• Experience with electrical systems is a definite asset; AC & DC as well as three-phase wiring.
  
• Knowledge of SPS Programming, automation technology and drive technologies.
  
• Ability to conduct installation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, repairs and provide recommendations.
• Maintain up-to-date training while providing remote support.
