Job summary

NCR Voyix is hiring a Field Service Technician in the Chicago, IL area. You will perform installations, maintenance, and service on electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within a defined territory.

Strong mechanical aptitude and customer-facing skills are important. Expect rotating shifts, potential overtime, and a company-provided vehicle to support field work.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to specific geographic area.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and suitable driving record.
• PC skills and basic electronic skills.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
• Prolonged travel with long daily driving hours.
• Rotating and weekend shifts; flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within a territory.
• Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls.
