Job summary

Xos Trucks in Richmond, CA seeks an experienced Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair Xos vehicles in the field. You will travel 60-80% to support customers, quantify concerns into actionable issues, and report causes and corrective actions for field fixes.

Applicants should have HV/LV electrical skills, automotive tech education or 4+ years in the field, and be able to read schematics. CDL preferred; travel to Canada may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency with high and low voltage electrical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate in automotive service tech or 4+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and report on quality and design concerns on Xos vehicles.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, software, and external partners.
• Demonstrate LV/HV electrical diagnosis, controls, and module programming.
• Provide professional customer-facing support on-site, by phone, and email.
• Complete timely case notes, repair orders, and initiate new cases.
