Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic with a strong background in CNH repair. This full-time role involves providing maintenance and repair services both in our shop and at customer sites.

About Us

Rueter’s Equipment is a family-owned distributor of agricultural and construction equipment, including brands like Case IH, Kubota, Hyundai, JCB, and Ashland. We specialize in mechanical work, diesel engine repair, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform shop-based repairs and maintenance.
• Travel to customer locations to service equipment, requiring a valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, recommending effective repairs.
• Determine parts and supplies needed for repairs.
• Follow safety procedures when working around equipment.
• Meet deadlines and schedules for work completion.
• Operate forklifts and assist with loading/unloading machinery as needed.

Record-Keeping

• Accurately document work orders, time, materials, and procedures.

Requirements

• 7+ years of CNH repair experience and training.
• Own tools required for repairs.

Work Environment
