Job summary

FlexTG is seeking a part-time Copier/Printer Service Technician to maintain and repair office equipment across a designated territory, with daily travel to customer locations. The role emphasizes strong technical expertise, time management, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Candidate must have a high school diploma, be 21+, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Industry experience with printing devices is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; basic networking knowledge.
• Able to work independently in a field-based role with daily travel.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair copiers and printers with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network-related issues.
• Install and configure equipment, including scanning in peer-to-peer environments.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize device uptime.
• Manage parts inventory and supplies according to company standards.
• Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and schedule.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Support sales teams by identifying potential upgrade or replacement opportunities.
• Ensure a professional appearance and excellent customer experience at all times.
