Job summary

McGrath RentCorp is seeking a Construction Service Assistant to support field technicians at customer sites, installing and repairing modular buildings and training customers on operation and maintenance. You will help run trials on HVAC equipment to ensure performance meets specifications and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to company standards, and teamwork with service technicians across various trades.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely perform all tasks and follow safety policies
• Deliver high-quality output per construction standards
• Able to follow spoken and written instructions
• Able to work outside in variable weather
• Ability to use manual and power tools
• Prior construction experience required
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Spanish language a plus

Responsibilities
