Job summary

Ready Mixed Concrete Co., a CRH Company, is looking for a Field Service Specialist to perform concrete tests, monitor quality, and support on-site corrective actions with customers. You will work with operations to ensure quality control and maintain testing records across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and relevant certifications; strong data handling, Excel proficiency, and excellent communication with clients are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1-2 years related experience or training.
• ACI Field Testing Technician Level I Certification preferred; must obtain within 12 months.
• NDOT Plant Inspector Certification and IDOT PCC 1/2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASTM tests on plastic concrete (slump, air, unit weight, temperature, yield).
• Maintain concrete test results and statistics for each mix.
• Cast test specimens, perform hardened testing, and input results into QC software.
• Draft reports from sieve analyses and ensure compliance with specs.
• Coordinate mix design adjustments with Plant Foreman/Batchmen.
• Provide quality customer service and maintain professional relationships with customers.
