Tech-24 A Commercial Food Service Repair Company Inc in EULESS, Texas, United States is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial cooking equipment at customer locations. The role requires strong troubleshooting ability, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service in the field.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing ovens, fryers, steamers, and more; performing preventative maintenance; documenting service calls

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong gas and/or electric troubleshooting experience.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Own industry standard hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, combi-ovens, mixers, dishwashers, hot cases, etc.)
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations
• Test components and verify proper operation after repairs
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities
• Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
