Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Houston, TX seeks a Field Service Technician to install, perform preventive maintenance and service coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing equipment for national accounts, healthcare, and hospitality clients.

The successful candidate will cover Northwest Houston and surrounding areas, must have a valid driver's license, pass background checks, and have 2+ years of service or repair experience; excellent problem solving and safety knowledge

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state driver’s license required with clean driving record.
• Must pass drug screen, MVR and background checks.
• Two years of customer service or equipment repair experience or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude in electrical, plumbing, and health/sanitation codes.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair coffee, juice, dishwashing and chemical-dispensing machines for diverse customers.
• Provide preventative maintenance and service performance measurements.
• Travel within Northwest Houston and surrounding areas to service accounts.
