Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the NJ/PA District, performing field service on fuel cells and related electrical systems. You will manage on-site maintenance, diagnose issues, and document service reports while adhering to safety and company protocols.

The role requires a strong electrical background, ability to travel within the service district, and the capacity to work autonomously with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical troubleshooting/diagnostic skills required.
• Familiar with safety standards, especially OSHA & NFPA 70E.
• Experience reading single line diagrams/blueprints.
• Experience with ANSI/NETA standards for Electrical Power.

Responsibilities

• Provide fuel cell service during field visit dispatches.
• Operate a service vehicle safely.
• Create daily workflows from scheduled tasks.
• Manage on-site preventive maintenance, repair, test, and diagnostic tasks.
• Follow company procedures and protocols.
• Diagnose errors and implement solutions.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
