Job summary

JBT Marel Corporation in Eastlake, OH seeks a Field Service Technician to install, commission, and service cappers at customer facilities, both in the field and at our ECS site. You will diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance, and train customers.

The role requires 4-6 years of capping service experience, two-year technical schooling, strong safety mindset, and willingness to travel up to 80%, including some nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years Capping service experience.
• Two-year technical school training in related field.
• Basic computer skills including email, Word, Excel; use of iPad and smartphone.
• Experience serving customers and working as a team.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to travel up to 80%.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machines in the field and at ECS facility to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair capping machinery (hydraulic/pneumatic) and electronics.
• Perform checks and setup of capping components and conduct machine audits.
• Install, commission, and set up Cappers in customer facilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace defective parts and reassemble machines.
• Complete service reports promptly and provide training to customers and coworkers.
• Travel up to 80% and work onsite at Bevcorp facilities when not traveling.
• Follow safety policies and uphold JBT values.
