Job summary

JBT Marel seeks a field-based Capping Service Technician in Eastlake, Ohio, to install, troubleshoot, and service our capper machinery at customer sites and Bevcorp facilities. You will train customers, perform maintenance, and document service reports while traveling up to 80% as needed.

Applicants should have 4–6 years in capping service, two-year technical training, strong communication skills, and a valid US driver's license.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years capping service experience preferred.
• Minimum two-year technical school training in related field.
• Basic computer skills including Word/Excel and email.
• Experience serving customers and working as a team to achieve success.
• Manufacturing experience in food and beverage industry preferred.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to travel outside of the US.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, etc., up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machines in the field and ECS facility to equipment specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery mechanically and electronically.
• Perform checks and setup of capping components for proper operation.
• Install, commission, and set up cappers at customer facilities and Bevcorp sites.
• Provide training to customers and coworkers; complete service reports on time.
