Job summary

Eagle Machine Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain CNC machining centers for customers in the region.

The role requires hands-on experience with CNC controls, movement, hydraulics and pneumatics, plus the ability to work in machine shops and interact with customers. The candidate should have at least 2 years of CNC experience, strong problem solving and physical endurance, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in industrial machine tools installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Experience with CNC controls, motion control, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong eye-hand coordination and good physical condition.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC lathe, horizontal and vertical mills.
• Serve as liaison with Sales and home office to support and resolve customer issues.

Eagle Machine Services, Inc. is one of the nations leading distributors. Manufacturers of CNC controlled machining centers. We are currently looking for highly qualified and motivated candidates with a minimum 2 plus years of CNC experience. Person must have experience and/or education in CNC controls, motion control, hydraulics and pneumatic systems. Candidate must have experience with vertical and turning machining centers and Fanuc control experience. A good mechanical aptitude is required. Disassemble/reassemble equipment for repair. Inspect, test and analyze test results, error codes, as well as gather info from operators to troubleshoot / repair CNC machinery.

Strong customer relations, problem solving, and self motivation skills are necessary.

The Qualifications.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred but not required.

The Field Service Technician job requires lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying heavy toolboxes and parts, stretching, walking, and climbing, so it is important to have good eye-hand coordination and to be in good physical condition.
