Job summary

The ICEE Company is seeking a Service Technician to service ICEE and restaurant equipment, with a company vehicle, gas card, and tech tools provided. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and timely dispatch response.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to drive more than 40% of the time. Training is provided through ICEE Academy with opportunities for tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid REAL ID Driver’s License.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must have and wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair ICEE and restaurant equipment, including frozen and non-carbonated dispensers, fountain beverage equipment, ice makers, and juice dispensers.
• Receive dispatched service calls and respond promptly based on ETA.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose/repair issues.
• Maintain inventory and perform maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Document work performed and close out activities; communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing, and shipping/receiving.
