Job summary

Carolina Handling, LLC is seeking a Field Technician to service, diagnose, and repair material handling equipment for customers across our network in the Cullman, AL area. You will troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, perform installations, and conduct scheduled maintenance while delivering superior customer service.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment checks including background, drug, and motor vehicle record checks
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years in maintenance, repair, or installation preferred
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronics; ability to read schematics and manuals

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems and diagnose issues
• Interact directly with customers to understand concerns and resolve issues
• Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively
• Perform repairs, installations, and scheduled maintenance
• Keep inventory of parts in service van and ensure tools are stocked
• Operate a company van and safety equipment according to procedures
• Adhere to safety guidelines at customer sites and in all tasks
• Execute additional duties to support operations
