Job summary

Mazak Corporation is looking for a Field Service Technician Trainee to join the North Central Service department located at our National Technology Center in Florence, KY. The Field Service Technician Trainee will participate in the Mazak Corporation's Field Service training program.

Trainees will complete the program and on the job training to be able install maintain and repair Mazak equipment. Duties involve overnight travel from home to various customer facilities, located primarily in the

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Willingness to travel overnight.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain Mazak equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems.
• Travel to customer facilities overnight.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics provided for the job.
• Test machine operation after installation or repair.
• Learn new machine features and accessories.
• Use precision levels to adjust the base of Mazak machinery.
• Utilize test equipment for troubleshooting.
