Job summary

Tanknology, a leader in petroleum services, seeks a Compliance Field Technician to join our field team in Alabama. The role involves hands-on testing, installation, and repair of fuel tank systems, with training through an apprenticeship until certification is achieved.

Applicants must live within 60 minutes of the advertised city and be able to travel across multiple states. You will operate TANCS software to record findings, maintain safety standards, and support a growing nationwide

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in trades is preferred (HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, electricians, carpenters, or cable technicians).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, bending, kneeling).
• Must pass pre-employment drug, background, medical, and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and surveys.
• Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems.
• Install equipment and test tank gauge systems.
• Enter and analyze test results, communicating findings to Operations.
• Manage and report inventory of parts and supplies on the company vehicle.
