Job summary

Tanknology, a United Uptime Services company, is seeking a Compliance Field Service Technician to join a nationwide team focused on preventing fuel leaks in tanks and piping systems. The role blends fieldwork, technical tasks, and compliance responsibilities, with opportunities for training and certification.

Starting as an apprentice is common, with duties including site assessments, leak testing, equipment installation, and using TANCS for data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in trades (HVAC, plumbing, or similar).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, bending, kneeling).
• Comfort with climbing ladders up to 20 ft multiple times daily.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and TANCS software usage.
• Effective communication and customer service orientation.
• Willingness to undergo DOT physical, drug screening, DMV check, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and surveys for compliance and safety.
• Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems.
• Install and test tank gauge systems and other equipment.
• Enter and analyze test results using TANCS software and report findings.
