Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components across multiple locations, including Tulsa, OK and surrounding service areas.

The role requires 2+ years in industrial mechanical troubleshooting, a valid driver’s license, and a personal mechanic’s tool set; on-call duties after a 90-day ramp; a strong safety mindset; and the ability to train apprentices and fellow technicians.

Qualifications

• 2 years+ experience troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with clean driving record per policy.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a mechanic's set of tools; specialty tools will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Ingersoll Rand compressed air equipment.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinator on ordering and gathering parts and supplies.
• Assist and train apprentices and Field Service Technicians.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Provide technical assistance on pre-commissioning and start-ups.
