Job summary

Daniels Health in Nashville, TN is seeking a Field Service Technician to support hospitals with critical medical waste services. This is not a desk job—you’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day.

You’ll work directly with hospital staff to exchange containers, service equipment, and maintain inventory while adhering to safety and privacy protocols. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM, with overtime opportunities and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Physically fit with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs.
• Team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with paperwork and procedures.
• Reliable personal transportation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital staff to exchange medical waste containers safely and promptly.
• Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas while respecting patient privacy.
• Lift containers up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 300 lbs.
• Maintain inventory of containers and keep areas stocked and organized.
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks and report issues.
• Keep staging areas clean before and after service.
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism and a strong work ethic.

What will your job involve?

• Working directly withhospital staffto ensure safe and timelymedical waste container exchangesand proper segregation.
• Inspecting and servicingDaniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lifting containers(up to 50 lbs) andpushing/pulling carts(up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
• Maintaining inventoryof containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
• Using acompany-provided smartphoneto manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
• Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Representing Daniels Health withprofessionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
