Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Full-time Field Service Representative to support hospitals across Illinois with critical medical waste services. This is not a desk job; you will be on your feet, lifting, and making a real impact every day at Corewell Health Troy Hospital in Troy, MI.

You will work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm, with potential schedule adjustments. You must be physically fit, travel within Illinois, and demonstrate professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling carts.
• Comfortable working in hospital environments.
• Willing to travel within Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lift containers up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 300 lbs throughout the day.
• Maintain inventory of containers and ensure all areas are stocked and organized.
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team.
• Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism and a strong work ethic.
• Be physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoy active on-the-go work.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Illinois.
