Job summary

LiftOne, part of the Weisiger Group, is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts at customer sites. You will work independently, travel locally, and play a key role in keeping customers productive and equipment reliable.

This role targets candidates with automotive, diesel, or military backgrounds, skilled in hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics. Training is provided to ensure success in our service environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in material handling, automotive, diesel, military, or heavy equipment mechanics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently in the field and travel locally.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with ServiceMax or similar CMMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment (gas, diesel, LP, electric).
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Document work performed and communicate with customers using the work order system.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory.
