Job summary

Weisiger Group’s LiftOne division is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites. You’ll travel locally and contribute to keeping businesses productive and safe.

Ideal candidates have a hands-on mechanical background from automotive, diesel, or military fields, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field. Training will be provided and ServiceMax experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in material handling or related heavy equipment mechanics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with ServiceMax or similar CMMS preferred.
• Lead with a safety-first mindset and follow all safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment (gas, diesel, LP, and electric).
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Accurately document work performed and communicate with customers using the work order system.
• Maintain your service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory.
• Represent LiftOne with professionalism and pride in every customer interaction.
