Job description

An international manufacturing corporation in the Evansville, IN area is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting in the field, supporting their maintenance office.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machines in the field.
2. Provide troubleshooting and customer support over the phone.
3. Follow a predictive maintenance schedule.
4. Repair and troubleshoot emergency equipment.
5. Write instruction manuals and procedures for new machines.
6. Repair and test defective parts.
7. Ensure quality control.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements:

1. Associate’s Degree or Professional Certification in Mechanical/Machine Technology or related fields.
2. 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with automated or automotive equipment experience.
3. Knowledge of electronic parts and mechanical systems.
4. Fluent in both written and verbal English.
5. Ability to travel domestically and regionally on short notice.
6. Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
7. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities.
8. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
9. This position does not support visa sponsorships or relocation costs.
