Hiab USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, safety checks and repairs on forklifts and related equipment in the Myrtle Beach area, following Manager instructions.

The role requires 100% travel, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a 1-year DOT Medical Card. We offer a sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, 401k with company match, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• DOT Medical Card required within 1 year
• Valid Driver’s License required; up to one moving violation in the last year or two in two years
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• 5+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations
• Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Own tools required
• Know, understand and comply with Hiab USA, Inc. Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
• This position requires 100% travel

Aufgaben

• Inspect, service and troubleshoot forklifts, knuckle boom cranes, loaders, liftgates, hooklifts, skiploaders and hoists per Manager’s instructions
• Follow safety rules and environmental requirements
• Stay up to date with technical developments and complete required courses
• Respond to customer queries to maximize satisfaction and follow guidelines
• Maintain records and submit daily reports as directed
• Recognize sales opportunities and inform the District Service Manager
• Coach junior colleagues and trainees as needed
• Promote Hiab brand and comply with Quality System
