Qualifications

• 5+ years of telecommunications field service experience.
• Hands-on installation and field deployment experience.
• Experience with fiber optics, microwave systems, radio technologies, and data networking.
• Experience supporting telecommunications installations and operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience supporting utility environments or utility customers preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Eastern North Carolina.
• Comfortable participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and emergency support.

Responsibilities

• Install, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain telecommunications equipment and systems.
• Support fiber optic, microwave, radio, and data networking technologies.
• Perform field installations and equipment deployments at customer and utility locations.
• Diagnose and resolve telecommunications and networking issues in the field.
• Provide ongoing operational and maintenance support for communications infrastructure.
• Travel throughout Eastern North Carolina to support customer locations and field operations.
• Report to the Raleigh warehouse to collect equipment and materials before traveling to job sites as needed.
• Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the broader Field Services organization.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to emergency service needs.
• Provide professional, service-oriented support to customers and internal teams.
