Job summary

White Star Machinery in Tulsa is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide quality repair services on Bobcat equipment. The role includes diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on customer and dealer-owned machines, with in-house training.

Monday–Friday dayshift with hourly pay and quarterly bonus. Benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance, 401K, paid vacation, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of equipment technician experience.
• Ability to work independently in field environments.
• Spanish language skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and identify causes following guidelines.
• Repair machine components in the field with high quality.
• Recondition and repair equipment and components.
• Plan repair methods and sequencing.
• Pre-order parts and materials for repairs.
• Perform repairs safely and effectively.
• Ensure repairs meet cosmetic standards.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Maintain records for time, parts, and purchases.
• Keep records legible and compliant with methods.
• Report daily field records even when not returning daily.

Bobcat is a full service Bobcat Dealership. We specialize in new, used, and rental compact excavators, skid steer loaders, and track loaders. We offers parts as well as both mobile and shop service, and a full line of concrete supplies.

White Star Machinery is seeking a Field Service Technician! This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment in order to meet customer needs. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. We offer in house training.

Monday – Friday dayshift

Hourly Rate, plus quarterly bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections required to determine cause of failure is done following established guidelines and are completed with the cause identified.
• Responsible for the effective repair of machine components in the field, at high levels of quality.
• Recondition and repair equipment and components.
• Plan methods and sequence of performing repairs assigned.
• Pre-order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs.
• Perform the repairs in a safe and effective manner.
• Ensure all repairs are completed as assigned and the cosmetic appearance are up to standards.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Maintain good working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases in repairs.
• Ensure all records are legible and in compliance with established methods.
• Report all record keeping daily from the field, even when not returning daily to the company.
• Maintain shop tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain personal appearance in a professional and neat condition. Wear all personal protective equipment, as required; and urges others to do so.
• All communications with customers and co-workers are conducted in a manner reflecting respect and integrity.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years working as equipment technician.
• Be able to work independently of direct supervision in a field environment.
• Contribution to spirit of teamwork and cooperation through the branch location, specifically with parts personnel and other service technicians.
• Spanish speaking is valued.
• A technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs is preferred.
• Prior experience as a field service technician preferred.
• Clean driving history.
