Job summary

A technology services provider is seeking a Desktop Support/Field Service Technician for a long-term contract in Tulsa, OK. The role involves traveling to customer locations for troubleshooting and repair of computers and peripherals, primarily working with Dell products. Candidates must hold a valid A+ Certification and have experience with desktop and laptop repairs. This position requires a reliable vehicle, as extensive driving will be necessary, alongside a professional demeanor. Mileage will be reimbursed, and a background check will be conducted post-offer.

Qualifications

• A+ Certification is mandatory.
• Good experience working on laptops and desktops is mandatory.
• Prior experience with Dell products is a plus.
• Good experience on break/fix is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various customer locations for repairs.
• Visit offices and residences to fix computers.
• Maintain professionalism in communication and attire.
• Work primarily with Dell products; prior experience is a plus.
• Travel radius of 50 to 70 miles from the pickup parts location.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism in communication and attire.
• Be prepared for overtime and extensive driving (about 300 miles per week).

Job Role / Duties

• Travel to various customer locations from the pickup parts location specified in the job
• Visit business offices and residences to repair/troubleshoot/break-fix computers/desktops/laptops/printers
• Use your own car to travel to service customers
• Work primarily with Dell products; prior experience is a plus
• Travel radius of 50 to 70 miles from the pickup parts location
• Maintain a high level of professionalism in communication and attire
• Be prepared for overtime and extensive driving (about 300 miles per week)

Required Skills

• A+ Certification is mandatory (training/expired status accepted)
• Dell or any product manufacturer certification is a plus
• Good experience working on laptops and desktops is mandatory
• Good experience on break/fix is required

Important Points

• Pay is biweekly based on approved hours
