Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other lift trucks, perform planned maintenance, and manage service van inventory in the Miami area.

The role requires a solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read service manuals. Excellent customer service and safety awareness are essential in this on-site field service position.

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with good driving record and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
• Industry related training is preferred
• Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through
