Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a service technician to calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on Retail Weighing Equipment. You will configure PCs, update service data, and support installations and repairs alongside experienced colleagues.

You will work under mentors to ensure safety and quality compliance, complete daily paperwork on a company laptop, and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales, and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform PC networking & software configuration
• Performs calibrations and preventative maintenance duties on our Retail Weighing Equipment, according to METTLER TOLEDO procedures and customer requirements.
• Actively updates and ensures data integrity of the service database.
• Assists and cooperates with Scheduling Analyst and Service Support Team as necessary.
• Resolves first-line customer concerns and helps resolve invoicing issues when applicable.
• Ensures compliance with all company and customer safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Accurately completes and submits all required paperwork on a daily basis as required via company issued Laptop PC in a professional manner
• Maintains a close professional relationship with external/internal customers, sales, technicians and leaders.
• Must comply with the Company Fleet policy.
• On-call rotation is required to support Mettler Toledo customer base.
• All other duties as assigned.
