Job summary

Nuvera Communications is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain voice, video, and internet services for residential and business customers in Minnesota. You will represent the company in one-on-one customer interactions and support on-site installations and on-call duties.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, valid driver's license, electronic experience, and the potential to obtain a Power Limited Technician License after hire.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Electronic experience, basic wiring, and construction experience preferred.
Power Limited Technician License (can be obtained after hire).

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation and repair of communication services with residential and business customers, including on-call duties.
Locating underground fiber optic and copper cables.
Installation/service of underground and aerial cables, conduit, poles, and cable guide wires.
Splicing of and installation of copper and fiber optic cable connection joint housing.
Remote maintenance.

As a Field Service Technician, you will assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of voice, video, and internet services for our residential and business customers while representing the company in one-on-one relationships with the customers.
