Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Field Service Technician. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues on arborist and compact equipment both in our shop and in the field. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently or with a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical system issues on industrial equipment
• Utilize multimeters and diagnostic tools to identify problems
• Perform general mechanical repairs, including engine troubleshooting
• Work both in-shop and off-site at customer locations
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients

Requirements:

• Proven experience in diagnostics and repair of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Proficiency with multimeters and standard service tools
• Strong understanding of engines and mechanical systems
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must supply own tools
• Ability to work independently in the field without supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior field service experience
• Experience with machinery like Morbark brush chippers, stump grinders, Rayco stump cutters, Avant articulated loaders, Boxer mini skid steers, etc.
