Job summary

Pop-Up Talent is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment across North America. The role emphasizes hands-on electro-mechanical work, working at client sites, and delivering superior technical support.

You will travel extensively (up to 75%) and may undertake occasional international assignments. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills, PLC familiarity, and the ability to read schematics, with compensation and benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, Associate’s degree, or relevant technical certification.
• Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams.
• Familiarity with machine controls/PLC systems, or willingness to learn.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test, physical exam, background check, and drug screening.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting heavy equipment.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed (with additional compensation).
