Job summary

Gerhart is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site calibrations and support industrial weighing equipment across challenging environments in New Jersey.

You'll operate company vehicles, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and interact professionally with customers, reporting status and service details to your Team Leader. This role offers growth opportunities and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• On-site calibrations of weighing and material handling systems.
• General mechanical or electrical background.
• Customer-focused mindset and a self-starter attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions (heat, cold, dust, and dirt).
• Familiarity with industrial service tools; welding experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring.
• Strength, stamina, and willingness to bend, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Maintain valid Drivers license and safe driving record.
