Job summary

Gerhart is seeking CDL Field Technicians to install, calibrate, and maintain weighing equipment in the field. You’ll troubleshoot heavy capacity systems, lead projects on job sites, and mentor peers, while helping customers optimize operations.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/electrical background, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work outdoors in all conditions. Welding and 120VAC/DC wiring knowledge are a plus, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B required or preferred; we’ll compensate current CDL holders.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• General mechanical or electrical background.
• Customer-focused mindset and a self-starter attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions (heat, cold, dust, and dirt).
• Familiarity with industrial service tools; welding experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring.
• Strength, stamina, and willingness to bend, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
