• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electronics, IT, or a related field is beneficial.
• Prior experience in field service, office equipment support, or a similar technical role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move office equipment within reasonable safety limits.

Role Description

The Field Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Midland, MI. In this position, the technician installs, configures, and maintains copiers, printers, fax machines, and related office equipment at customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing hardware and connectivity issues, performing routine preventive maintenance, replacing parts and supplies, and ensuring equipment is operating according to manufacturer specifications. The technician documents service activities, communicates clearly with customers about issues and resolutions, and coordinates with internal teams to order parts, schedule visits, and follow up on open service tickets. The role also involves educating customers on proper equipment use and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime and improve user experience.
