Job summary

Otovo SRL is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial solar energy systems, battery storage, and generators across New Hampshire.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years electrical experience, NEC/AHJ knowledge, ability to read schematics, and strong customer service to explain system status at client sites. Travel locally and overtime may be required. You will lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
4+ years electrical experience.
State electrical license or certification required (Journeyman/Equivalent).
Valid driver's license with clean record.
Knowledge of NEC/AHJ and interconnection requirements.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar panels, inverters, batteries, generators, and related equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance including panel cleaning, wiring inspections, inverter testing, and battery health assessments.
Commission new systems and upgrades while ensuring NEC/AHJ/com utility compliance.
Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, and thermal imaging equipment.
Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and photo documentation.
Follow safety procedures including PPE, lockout/tagout, and fall protection.
Respond to emergency service calls and warranty-related repairs as needed.
Communicate effectively with homeowners and customers regarding system status and repair recommendations.
Represent Otovo professionally at customer sites.

Otovo is seeking a skilled and dependable Field Service Technician to join our growing renewable energy team. In this role, you'll service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial solar energy systems, battery storage solutions, and generators.

This position is ideal for an experienced electrical professional who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving complex problems, and delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the transition to clean energy.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar panels, inverters, batteries, generators, and related equipment
Perform preventive maintenance including panel cleaning, wiring inspections, inverter testing, and battery health assessments
Commission new systems and upgrades while ensuring compliance with NEC, AHJ, and utility requirements
