Otovo is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial solar systems, battery storage solutions, and generators. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of electrical experience, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of NEC/AHJ requirements.

Qualifications

4+ years of electrical experience.
Strong understanding of NEC, AHJ, and utility interconnection requirements.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
State-required electrical certification or license (Journeyman, Wireman, or equivalent).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar panels, inverters, batteries, generators, and related equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance including panel cleaning, wiring inspections, inverter testing, and battery health assessments.
Commission new systems and upgrades while ensuring compliance with NEC, AHJ, and utility requirements.
Utilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, and thermal imaging equipment.
Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and photo documentation.
Follow all safety procedures including PPE usage, lockout/tagout processes, and fall protection requirements.
Respond to emergency service calls and warranty-related repairs as needed.
Communicate effectively with homeowners and customers regarding system status and repair recommendations.
Represent Otovo professionally at customer sites.

Otovo is seeking a skilled and dependable Field Service Technician to join our growing renewable energy team. In this role, you'll service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial solar energy systems, battery storage solutions, and generators.

This position is ideal for an experienced electrical professional who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving complex problems, and delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the transition to clean energy.

Key Responsibilities
