Job summary

Thrive is seeking independent contractors for full-time service work in the Kansas City area. You will operate with a dedicated territory and flexible daily schedules, including weekends. Prior experience in home installation or service is a plus, and we offer training for the right candidate.

Ideal candidates have high energy, reliability, and a willingness to learn about Thrive products. Own tools and transportation are required, and a background check plus drug screen will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Experience installing or servicing in customer's home is a plus, but we will train the right technician.
• Must have Driver's License.
• Own tools AND transportation.
• Capacity to use discretion when examining installation instructions.
• Ability to seek clarification when presented with ambiguous requests.
• Available to tend to late callouts on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Perform warranty repair and service work at customers' homes.
• Install and service products per company guidelines.
• Demonstrate features to customers and educate on usage.
• Replace components such as doors, door handles, faucets, and cartridges as needed.
• Handle GFCI resets and basic electrical tasks.
• Test motors and perform replacements as required.
• Assist with basic cleaning and maintenance of installations.

We are looking for independent contractors for full-time service work. Will have a dedicated territory.

Flexible daily schedules and weekends are available.

Previous experience installing or servicing in customer's home is a plus, but we will work with and train the right technician.

Typical service repairs include, but are not limited to:

• Feature Demonstrations
• Customer education
• Door/Door handle replacement
• faucet leaks
• stem/cartridge replacement
• GFCI resets and replacements
• Motor testing/replacement
• shower wand repair/replacement and basic cleaning

Our ideal candidate must have:

• A high energy and positive attitude
• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, HVAC and/or plumbing
• Excellent customer service-oriented attitude
• Ability and willingness to learn about our products
• Dependable transportation and own tools
• Must be trustworthy and reliable
• Plumbing and electrical experience preferred
• High school diploma
