Job summary

Thrive is seeking professional installers and service technicians to join our field team in Jacksonville, FL. You will handle installation and repair tasks in customers' homes, with emphasis on HVAC, plumbing, and basic electrical work.

Training is provided for the right candidate, and a reliable vehicle with owned tools is preferred. We offer flexible schedules, commitments to weeklies, and both W2 and independent contractor opportunities for full-time or part-time work, with dedicated

Qualifications

• Energetic, positive attitude and reliable mindset.
• Experience installing or servicing in customers' homes is a plus and training is provided.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing or carpentry is preferred.
• Must have dependable transportation and own tools.
• Willingness to learn about products and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install or service systems in customers' homes.
• Explain repairs and educate customers on products.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing and mechanical tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and complete tasks timely.
• Possess strong time management and willingness to handle late callouts.

We are looking to hire professional and dependable installers and service technicians that have long term aspirations to help us build the top warranty repair and service company in our industry.

We are looking for both W2 employees and/or independent contractors for either full-time or part-time service work. Will have a dedicated territory.

Flexible daily schedules and weekends are available.

Previous experience installing or servicing in customer's home is a plus, but we will work with and train the right technician.

Typical service repairs include, but are not limited to:

Feature Demonstrations, Customer education, Door/Door handle replacement, faucet leaks, stem/cartridge replacement, GFCI resets and replacements, Motor testing/replacement, shower wand repair/replacement and basic cleaning.

Our ideal candidate must have:

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, HVAC and/or plumbing
• Excellent customer service-oriented attitude
• Ability and willingness to learn about our products
• Dependable transportation and own tools
• Must be trustworthy and reliable
• Plumbing and electrical experience preferred
• High school diploma
• Driver's License
• Own tools AND transportation
• Capacity to use discretion when examining installation instructions
• Ability to seek clarification when presented with ambiguous requests
• Available to tend to late callouts on occasion
• Willingness to learn
