Job summary

Thrive is seeking independent contractors for part-time service work in the Portland, Oregon area. Experience installing or servicing in customers' homes is a plus, but we will train the right technician. Flexible daily schedules and weekends are available, with competitive weekly pay and a stable workflow.

Ideal candidates will have a high energy and positive attitude, own tools and transportation, and be willing to learn about Thrive products. Background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Driver's license required.
• Own tools and transportation.
• Capacity to use installation instructions with discretion.
• Willingness to learn Thrive products and services.
• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, HVAC or plumbing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install or service in customers' homes as part of Thrive's warranty and service offering.
• Provide demonstrations and customer education on basic repairs.
• Handle typical service tasks such as door hardware, plumbing and electrical basics as trained.

We are looking for independent contractors for part-time service work. Will have 2 state territory.

This is an ideal opportunity for a retiree or someone that has a handyman business but is looking for more work

Flexible daily schedules and weekends are available.

Previous experience installing or servicing in customer's home is a plus, but we will work with and train the right technician.

Typical service repairs include, but are not limited to:

Feature Demonstrations, Customer education, Door/Door handle replacement, faucet leaks, stem/cartridge replacement, GFCI resets and replacements, Motor testing/replacement, shower wand repair/replacement and basic cleaning.
